The Beginning
I started my engineering career working with IBM mainframe systems.
I maintained mission-critical banking and insurance systems where reliability was not optional.
A system failure was not just a technical problem.
It could affect customers, businesses, and society.
My role was not simply writing code.
It was understanding problems, diagnosing failures, and protecting systems.
Problem Determination.
Diagnostic.
These words were part of my daily work.
In many ways, I was a doctor for computers.
From Mainframes to AI
Decades later, technology has changed dramatically.
Mainframes became personal computers.
Traditional software development evolved into AI-assisted development.
The tools have changed.
The scale has changed.
